Even for the tax hell that Brazil is, that is way too much for something like this, you can get a almost brand new ML for that price.

Kinja'd!!!

The exterior is quite nice looking, I'll give you that.

I've always wondered. What's it like owning a Citroen in Brazil? Are French cars big there?

Yeah, they are a bit more upscale than the other things manufactured here, not my Citroen though, no one bought that as it was imported here and the people who had money to afford cars like that preferred the ones with V6 engines.

The exterior design looks kind of busy in my opinion. Interior too. Do not want, I'll take the ML please!

The Toyota Hilux SW4.

Otherwise known as Toyota Fortuner or what the 4Runner should look like if it was still based on the Hilux.

Cool. The Brazilian car industry is interesting and I'm curious about how brands not common in the US fair in places that are not their home market or here.

Huh, I could write a post about that. Basically, if you can offer a cheap small with the most basic amenities people will buy it, we have 100% import tax on everything plus 50% tax on industrial goods, cars like the Camry are not for the regular folk, they are considered luxury cars that few can buy. We have no diesel cars because it's subsidized by the government, only SUV's and Trucks.

I know, I went to look at a brand new (not the diesel one, but the base I4 5 seats one-priced half that) one before buying my Tribeca, service at the Toyota Dealer was poor and the interior was terrible. They are know to be indestructible though.

The interior looks like it's straight from an old Tundra.

The purist in me keeps saying thats not a Hilux. The 'lux has always been a ute, plain and simple. This is more of a Landcruiser or something similar.
